2K Showcase Announces 2026 Field: Michigan, Ohio & Illinois Programs Take the Stage

GRAND RAPIDS, MI – The 2K Showcase has announced its field of participating teams for the 2026 event, bringing together some of the most competitive high school basketball programs in the region. The 12th annual showcase will take place on January 31 and February 7, 2026, at Grand Rapids Community College Ford Fieldhouse.
Fans are already buzzing as the showcase returns with another slate of powerhouse matchups. The field is once again dominated by Michigan’s premier programs, along with standout talent representing Ohio and Illinois to round out a strong regional mix.
A Tradition of Champions and Future Pros
Now entering its 12th year, the 2K Showcase has become a fixture in the state’s basketball culture where elite programs, players, and fans converge under one roof. Over the past decade, the event has featured:
13 State Champions who went on to win titles in their respective divisions
17 professional basketball players, including 7 who have played in the NBA — 6 of whom are currently on NBA rosters to start the 2025–26 season
6 Mr. Basketball winners and 22 nationally ranked players
Over 40,000 fans have attended through the years.
Over 270 players who’ve competed in the showcase have advanced to play college basketball.
A Deep, Talented 2026 Field
This year’s field continues that legacy, featuring another deep lineup of championship-caliber programs, returning state finalists, and nationally recognized talent. All games are marquee games, highlighted by individual players projected to make strong runs at Michigan’s 2026 Mr. Basketball Award.
Representing a blend of tradition and new energy, the 2026 field brings together established state powers and rising programs from across Michigan, with Ohio and Illinois teams adding to the competitive landscape.
The full field includes Ann Arbor Huron, Benton Harbor, Chicago Hyde Park (IL), Detroit Catholic Central, East Kentwood, East Lansing, Ferndale, Grand Rapids Catholic Central, Grand Rapids Christian, Grand Rapids Northview, Grandville, Hamtramck, Holland West Ottawa, Kalamazoo Central, Lansing Sexton, Lansing Waverly, Lima Senior (OH), Muskegon, Rockford, Warren Fitzgerald, and Warren Lincoln.
